Kutch doesn’t have a dedicated airport or railway station, Rann of Kutch or Kutch in Gujarat is only accessible via road as it is mainly a barren desert.

The nearest airport to Kutch is in Bhuj (53 km), administrative city of Kutch, having flights from major cities of India.

Nearest Railway Station to Kutch

Kutch does not have a railway station. Bhuj (70 km) is the nearest railway station having several trains connected from major cities of India like Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Jaipur, Kolkata and Delhi

There are regular State Transport and Private buses connecting Bhuj to the nearby cities like Mumbai, Surat, Baroda and Ahmedabad.

Don’t forget to carry a Photostat copy of your passport as you would need it for entry to the Rann of Kutch. Submit a Photostat copy of your passport’s front page at the office. In case you forget that there’s a Photostat shop in one of the villages, at around 10 minutes from the police check post.

For the Indians

It’s mandatory to carry an Identity Card (Passport, Voters’ ID card or a Driver’s License). It’ll be thoroughly checked at the police check post.
